Albi Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods situated in the ‘Cradle of Humankind’, at the foot of Swartkops. A small select band of broodmares are used with both imported and local semen from some of the top Stallions in South Africa and Europe. Youngstock offered for sale.

Areion Warmblood Horses & Dressage Academy

Areion is a small establishment situated in the Freestate Province, in central South Africa, 5km outside the town Christiana, between Kimberley and Bloemfontein. The husband and wife team consisting of Jaco & Magda Fourie takes care of the 2 main objectives of Areion: breeding quality warmblood horses for the dressage sport, and training both horses and riders in this classical equestrian discipline.

Bellissima Stud

Bellissima Stud was started in 2007 and is situated in the Breede River Valley near McGregor. We aim to breed South African Warmblood Horses for all disciplines with particular attention to Quality and Temperament. Our brood mares are put to stallions with proven performance and excellent temperament, each stallion is carefully chosen to truly complement and improve the Bellissima blood line.

Berghof Hannoveraner

Small breeder of European Warmbloods using mostly imported lines and focussing on the Hanoverian breed type. Breeding for athleticism to produce performance horses for all disciplines.

Berkeley Stud

Stallion owner of two young imported stallions; Vainqueur and Wenzel R. Located in Johannesburg.

Bokertov Warmblood Stud

Standing the imported Holstein stallion Cynric C. We strive to breed sound competition horses with excellent ride ability. Foals grow up in the fresh mountain air and the gentle hills of the Mpumalanga highlands meander. Young stock offered for sale.

Bevlin Stud

Bevlin Warmblood Stud strive to breed South African Warmbloods with good temperaments, colour and good movement in mind suitable for dressage & showjumping. Current stud stallion, Saratoga Mr.Bojangles has amazing bloodlines, charisma, presence, ability & temperament . Youngstock offered for sale. Located in the heart of Limpopo province, Polokwane.

Brandenburg Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Stands several stallions including Brandenburg Clifton, Clarinius, Land Earl, Sebastiaan, Colbert and Ruben. The farm is situated at Fort Nottingham in the Kwa-Zulu Natal with a training base at the Vaal River in Gauteng.

Branic Stud

We don’t just breed Warmbloods we breed top class sport horses from proven imported stallions and the best imported semen available. We don’t believe in compromising on quality mares. All our mares are selected on pedigree, temperament, confirmation and correctness . Branic offspring and progeny from our stallions over the years are to be found in local and international arena’s.

Callaho Warmblood Sport Horse Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Stands Callaho's For Joy and Callaho's Granulit. Also owns Callaho’s Wenckstern currently standing in Germany and competing in Europe. A wide variety of imported semen is also used. The farm is situated in the Freestate near Christiana.

Capital Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Currently standing the imported stallions Armani, Capriccio and Ullior van het Wuitenshof. The farm is located in the Skeerpoort valley.

Cellehof Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Stands the licensed stallion Thaddaeus as well as a number of young stallions. The farm is situated in Johannesburg and includes a full training operation run by Dominey Alexander.

Claratal Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods in Namibia. Standing Brasil, Staccato and Khalif. The stud uses Trakehner, Thoroughbred, Namibian Warmblood and Hanoverian mares with the focus on Trakehner type sporthorses.

The Compton House Stud

Breeder of European Warmbloods with the aim to produce a modern type sport horse especially suited to Dressage. The farm is situated in Devon Valley, Stellenbosch.

Conti Stud

Home of quality SA Warmbloods bred for both excellence in competition and for temperament. Brood mares are of premium imported lines and both imported semen and live cover are used to constantly improve our gene pool.

Dageraad Stud

Breeders of Dutch Warmbloods. Stands Dageraad, Ricardo and imports semen from KWPN stallions. Situated close to Robertson in the Cape. Also serves as a quarantine station.

Davenport Warmblood Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Stands Rex Grannus Z, Davenport Peter Pan and Davenport Ramses II. A foundation stud of SAWHS (1982), breeding SA Warmbloods based on bloodlines of Namibian, Hanoverian, Holstein and South African thoroughbreds. Based in the Karoo, we are affiliated to the Pretoria Equestrian Center (PEC).”

Eagle Stud

Breeder of European Warmbloods striving to breed athletic, sporty horses which are talented in all disciplines of olympic equestrian sport, namely showjumping, dressage and eventing. Currently standing the stallions Concerto, Eagles Warrior and Lassiter. The stud farm is situated in the Eastern Cape.

Emerald Isle Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Currently stands the stallions Sandor, Davenport Barcelona, Whittaker and San Alarco. The farm is located in Kwa-Zulu Natal. The focus of the breeding program is for jumping but the stud has produced some wonderful dressage horses as well. Youngstock offered for sale.

Ethygyle Casilean

Irish Sport Horse stud standing the stallion Rebel Assault (ISH), Silver Pride (RID) and Battle Chant XX. The farm is located near Potchefstroom. They also have a selection of young stock available for sale.

Franlaren Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Currently standing Beau Veneur and Larry de la Beyere Last Step. Youngstock offered for sale.

Holeshot Stud

Breeding athletic rideable sport horses with willing temperaments and correct conformation for all disciplines from our coloured Dutch Warmblood stallion. A variety of talented youngstock offered for sale.

Kellow Park Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Currently standing the young stallion, Branic Bellini D’or. Located in Johannesburg, Kellow Park Stud was started in 2001. Youngstock offered for sale.

Kinvara Stud

Irish Draught & Irish Sport Horse stud standing the stallion Etherow Impasse(RID). The farm is located in Johannesburg. They also have a selection of young stock available for sale.

Lan Crest Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Currently stands the young stallion Pomme D’Or. The farm is located in the Freestate. Youngstock offered for sale.

London Lane Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Stands the following stallions : Airborn (Bay Holsteiner); Moenchshof’s Ratz-Fatz (Leopard ZfDP Warmblood); Special Effects (Homozygous Tobiano Oldenburg); Treliver D’Artagnan (Palomino British Warmblood). Located in Midrand. Youngstock offered for sale.

Lorelock Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Currently stands the young stallions Lorelock Rivatello d’Or and Branic Prince Fyodore. The farm is located in the Northwest. Youngstock offered for sale.

Midas-Touch Stud

Breeder of European and Coloured Warmbloods. Three young stallions are standing at stud (incl. a Cremello stallion). Located near East London in the Eastern Cape. Youngstock offered for sale.

Paarden - Dutch Warmbloods

Breeders of Dutch Warmbloods. Stands Dageraad Axel and use imported semen from KWPN stallions. The farm is situated close to Robertson in the Cape

Pohlands Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Currently standing Milan and Wachman III. Pohlands Stud aims to breed athletic, tough, sound competition horses, suitable for dressage, eventing showing and show jumping. The farm is situated in the Eastern Cape. Youngstock offered for sale.

Radzi Stud

Razdi Stud breed Warmbloods with good temperaments and good movement, mainly for dressage and showjumping. Rubin, imported from Germany, is our stallion. Rubin is out of the great sire, Rubinstein. We started to breed in 2003. Our first foals have started to compete and they are amazing.

Rivendell Stud

Rivendell Stud aims to breed and produce a horse that is strong in type, sound in mind and body with exceptional temperament and great rideability. A horse that is willing, noble, well-proportioned and correct. This combined should result in a horse with the greatest aptitude for competitive or recreational riding.

Rivervale Stud

Situated 6km from Rosetta Village in the KZN Midlands Rivervale Stud has paddocks that sweep down the hill to the Mooi River. Currently Rivervale Stud has local and imported stallions and a variety of imported semen. Rivervale stud offers AI services, live covers, the supervising of foaling and the raising and backing of young stock. Horses are treated with individual attention. There is ample space to range and grow up on.

Saratoga Stud

Breeders of European Warmbloods. Currently standing Carrick and Saratoga Waldemar also imports frozen semen. The farm is situated in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands. Youngstock offered for sale.

Taba Warmblood Stud

Taba Warmblood Stud established in 1997, situated between Kyalami and the Magalies mountains +- 15 minutes drive from KEP.Mares consist of all imported pedigrees mainly being Hanoverian, Holstein and Selle Frances. Pedigrees include names like; Atilla, Bambix, Coronado, Ubergabe, Thaddaeus and Wachmann. Breeding for temperament and performance in Dressage and Jumping.

Twilight Stud

Twilight Stud is a small establishment in the South of Gauteng. We strive to breed superior quality warmbloods for all Olympic disciplines from proven imported (European) and local bloodlines. We stand the 17hh TRUE black Ferro x Royal Dance stallion All Star Seto. We also import horses for client who cant make a trip abroad.

Von Ghaku Stud

At Von Ghaku stud (between Bethlehem and Fouriesburg) our emphasis is on movement and elegance. We breed mainly with pure Hannoverian dressage lines. Our 4 mares are imported State Premium mares and our Stallion is an approved Hannoverian dressage stallion who was also winner of his approval with an index is 138. In 2009 he was ranked 7th in the world ("reitpferdepoints") He is the only dressage stallion in South-Africa that was winner of his approval in Germany.

Watermark Stud
